My poor children and the people I have pawned them off on......
Yesterday Carson called me and asked if he could stay after school to finish some work, I said yes cause "hello" who wouldn't want their kid to do their work. So he wasnt going to be home till 4pm. Anyway, I called Caryn (she had Brenner) and told her that when Breckin got there to send her home to get the wagon and come back and get Brenner and take him home. So then Breckin called and said she wanted to go to the Science Fair with Reagan. I told her to take Brenner home and then Caryn could pick her up at 5. Then she decided whe just wanted to stay at Reagans and not go home, so Caryn (not realizing that Carson wasnt home) took just Brenner to my house, and only London was home "alone". She is only 5!! Abby had sent London home cause I didnt tell her Carson wasnt home. London was just in the house hanging out telling Caryn "I thought Dory was dead, but she's not!" So poor Caryn has my baby and 5 year old and doesn't know what to do with them..So she took them to her house and as soon as Carson got home I had him go get them..Well London had dance and Julie was picking her up, so by the time Carson got her home Julie was there to pick her up and of course she didnt have dance clothes on cause she had been wandering the neighborhood, wondering where her family was. So Julie helped her get dressed. But of course my house was a DISASTER. So Julie and Caryn had to make swim their way through my house to help my children. No one ever comes over when my house is clean. Literally every time Julie comes over it is a mess. Then I got a call from Carson saying he was getting a migraine so, I told him to take his meds and I didnt think much about it. So when I walk into the house Brenner was on the kitchen counter and had dumped 2 bags of cereal, London was trying to get him down and Carso was nowhere to be seen. He was downstairs on the couch "out cold". 1st reaction is to get mad but, I know that when he has a migraine sleeping his coping mechanism. Anyway, I am a terrible mother who relies on so many wonderful people to help me with my kids. I am so grateful to live in a place with wonderful friends that I know I can call on at any moment and most importantly they do not call DCFS on me..... Oh and by the way this is NOT the 1st time this has happened...ahhh

Now that sounds like an interesting "after-school program". Everyone is safe and sound so we can all have a good laugh at your craziness!
ReplyDeleteLike your blog title says, "Gotta Love This Crazy Life!!"
ReplyDeletePS, your house wasn't messy when I got there, so London must have been a good little housekeeper while she was home alone. :)
Also, CALL ME!!!! I can take Brenner and London ANYTIME -- and Breckin as well. And Carson for that matter. YOU KNOW THIS!!!!
