This weekend I went to Roosevelt with Marci , Jaynee and my Mom.

We took a road trip to see G-pa Vance. He is in the Nursing a Rehab center now:(

He was much more "himself" than I had expected, so that made me happy.

I had to post some pictures because we had the best time....well let me re-phrase that. Marci and I had the best time, Jaynee and Mom were just really hoping that we would shut-up and quit acting like teenagers....

We were cracking him up. It was so good to see and hear him laugh...

I do have other children to , so perhaps I should update on them to...

Breckin got glasses...she looks so cute in them
She loves them and takes such good care of them.
Of all my children I am glad that it is her who needs them...because she is the one who will take care of them and actually wear them....

Carsons headaches have been doing much better. He had a bout with the flu last week, but is back up and runnin... He is doing a baseball training camp on monday nights

Brenner has new words everyday.
some of his favorites are

spoon
snow
truck and tractor-(of course)
....If you ask him where PaPa is he says tractor..In his mind thats all Grandpa does....
He now refuses to sit in the high chair...the problem is there is only 3 bar stools and now one wants to have to sit at the table..maybe we should just all sit at the table...the reason we dont is beause I hate having to crawl behind it to clean up all the food on the floor....Look at me putting my selfishness before my family.....I am realizing lately just how stupid I am sometimes.....Anyway wasn't this about Brenner

On saturday night we had our Stake ski night up at the Beav...
London took her first lesson and Nathan Carson and Breckin hit the slope.
Well apparently Brenner felt left out. He would NOT stay in the lodge.
It was snowing and the wind was blowing but he didnt care.....He took the sled I brought to pull him around on and headed for the ski lift, got in line and waited his turn.....and freaked out everytime I moved him out of line...It was kinda cute the first couple times, then it got really old and cold. I guess its time to take the back pack up and let him ski with Nathan. I never thought I would let that happen, but when your kid loves it that much what do ya do????

WhO MaDe YoUr DaY ToDaY

I had I REALLY bad day on Wed.....
So on Thursday, Marci showed up at work with lunch for me!!!!
Old Grist Mill sandwhich and Cream Cheese Brownie.......yum........
She made my day..:)

Thanks for always thinking of me Marci....I love you like a sister....Oh wait????

ChRistMas DaY

This was probably one of the best Christmas Days I have ever had..........Do you know what we did??
NOTHING absolutely NOTHING
No one got dressed
No one did their hair
We didnt even have a well balanced meal
(unless you consider candy "well Balanced"..... which I do)

It was great to just stay home and not deal with the stress and pressures of the outside world

And my camera batteries were dead (of course) so NO pictures............maybe thats a good thing considering our lack of effort to make ourselves presentable.

The coolest thing happened to me yesterday.....
I was in the checkout line at Lee's and the checker said to me, "The lady who came through the checkstand before you gave me 3 $20 gift cards and use them on the next 3 people to come through"
Well I was one of those 3 people.
How amazing is that.....
So thank you, whoever you are for lifting my spirit and paying for my Christmas dinner:)
My hope is that next Christmas I can be the one to make life a little better for someone else.....
